How do I keep the salami?

If you have ever been to Italy, you have probably noticed that salami are generally hanging from the ceiling in a shop or in a basement. This is because they need to dry and must be kept at the same constante temperature. Cured meat can keep long, but it doesn't like fast temperature changes.

Considering that all our salami are vacuum packed, we store them at a stable temperature around 10°C in our warehouse fridges.

When you receive our salami, keep them in a cool and dry place at a temperature in the 5° to 16°C range. If you're unsure, just keep them in the fridge, away from dirty and wet shelves.

Once you have opened a salame, please store it in the fridge and consume it within 3 weeks.

Do I have to peel the salami?

Yes, don't be a barbarian. The casing is inedbile!

Are your salami gluten free?

Yes, all our salami are gluten free!

I have allergies, what is inside your salami?

Allergens are in CAPITAL BOLD on each product page, like SKIMMED MILK POWDER that is present in our salami.

I am a vegeratian/vegan, can you help me?

First of all, how the hell did you land here on Italian Salami? Don't panic, we can help you. I mean, we could try to convert you to the salami way, but you will not like us... So, you can check our parallel universe shop where you can get high quality truffle, extra virgin olive oil, wine, pasta and herbs.

What is the weight of each salame?

Since all our salami are artisanally made, we can't guarantee a standard weight.

That's why in each product page you will see the average weight.

You can expect to receive a salame that weighs similarly to the average weight, generally with a 20-30 grams of maximum difference from the average weight.

Can I return an item?

Food products are fragile and can be altered by many factors, so we do not accept returns. If you have any issues, you can get easily in touch with us. We are here for you, except when we are having our coffee. That is a sacred moment!
